Description
Checks if the OraTimeStampTZ is greater than an argument.
Arguments |
Description |
---|---|
[in] value |
A Variant of type String, Date, or OraTimeStampTZ to be compared. |
[in, optional] format |
Specifies the TIMESTAMP WITH TIME ZONE format string to be used to interpret value when value is type String. If format is not specified, value is interpreted using the current OraTimeStampTZ's Format property. |
isGreater = OraTimeStampTZObj.IsGreater value, format
Remarks
Returns a Boolean value: True if the OraTimeStampTZ is greater than the argument, false otherwise. IsGreater only compares the UTC date time values stored in the OraTimeStampTZ object; the time zone information is ignored.
If the value is of type String, the string format must match the format specified in the format argument. If format is not specified, the string format must match the current OraTimeStampTZ's Format property.
If the value is of type Date, the date time value in Date is interpreted as the date time value in the session time zone.
