Description

Trims or truncates the LOB or BFILE value to shorter length.

Usage

void Trim(unsigned long newlen) const throw(OException)

Arguments

newlen

An integer specifying the new length of the LOB value which must be less than or equal to the current length.

Remarks

Either a row-level lock or object-level lock should be obtained before calling this method.
