Computes cotangent

SYNOPSIS

  result = COT( arg )

FUNCTION VALUE

  cot             Real.
                  The cotangent of arg.

ARGUMENT

  arg             Real.
                  The input argument.

DESCRIPTION

  The external real function COT returns the cotangent of its real input
  argument. Since COT is not an ANSI Fortran 77 intrinsic function, it must
  be declared as REAL and EXTERNAL.
