ISRCHIGE (3sciport)

Searches an integer vector for the first entry greater than or equal to an integer target

SYNOPSIS

  location = ISRCHIGE( n, x, incx, target )

FUNCTION VALUE

  isrchige        Integer.
                  The location in vector x of the first element greater than
                  or equal to target.

ARGUMENTS

  n               Integer.
                  The number of elements to be searched. If n <= 0, then 0 is
                  returned.

  x               Integer vector.
                  An integer input array to be searched.

  incx            Integer.
                  The increment between elements of the array to be searched.
                  For contiguous elements, incx = 1.

  target          Integer.
                  The value to be searched for in array x.

DESCRIPTION

  The function ISRCHIGE returns the first location in integer vector x that
  is greater than or equal to an integer target. If all elements of vector x
  are less than target, then the returned value is n+1.
